Caretaker Attendance
2nd February
Starting from Monday 6th February the Caretaker will be onsite between 8:00am and 1:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am and 11:00am on Saturday permanently instead of alternating between mornings and afternoons every other week.
Easter Caretaker Attendance
6th April
The Caretaker will not be on-site Easter Friday, Saturday or Monday.
May ECM Postponed
2 May
The ECM due to start tonight at 6:30pm has had to postponed to a date next week to be advised as a number of committee are unwell or dealing with unexpected events.
May ECM Postponed
9 May
The postponed 2 May ECM has been rescheduled to 16th May.
Caretaker Change
9th May
David Ellis will cease to be the Caretaker from close of business 10th May. Joe Bergin commences as the Caretaker on Friday 11th May.
Caretaker Update
19th May
Joe Bergin has had to travel overseas at short notice. Peter will fill in until the 28th May. Contact details for the Caretaker remain unchanged.
EGM Date Change
19th May
The EGM scheduled for the 6th June will instead run on the 4th July. An ordinary ECM will occur on the 6th June. Both meetings start at 6:30pm in the Activity Room.
Inactive Swipe Card Audit
19th May
Any security access swipe card that has not been used in the twelve month period prior to 20th May will be suspended from the 20th May. Reactivation can be arranged via an email request to the Secretary.
Block A Lift
16th June
9:00 pm Update
The lift in Block A failed sometime before 10:00 am this morning. The Caretaker reported the failure to the maintainer. The technician was on-site before noon. The technician identified the cause for the failure as a micro switch related to the lift brake. The technician shut the lift down for safety reasons. The required part is expected to be available tomorrow morning. The lift is expected to be back in service tomorrow.
17th June
9:30 am Update
Technician on-site to replace faulty micro switch.
10.00 am Update
On-site technician advised lift brake caliper needs to be replaced. Caliper replacement is a four man job. The caliper will be replaced tomorrow.
Lift will not be available until about midday Monday 18th June.
18th June
2:30 pm Update
Restoration of the lift has been delayed until the required part was available in Sydney. Technicians are expected on-site this afternoon.
Lift is expected to be operational late this afternoon.
6:00 pm Update
Lift is operational.
ECM
1st September
The September ECM will be on Wednesday, 12 September instead of the original date to accommodate member’s work commitments.
Letterbox Security
1st September
Owners and residents are reminded that they need to replace the locks in their letterboxes so that they can’t be opened by a master key. Replacement locks are available for about $15.00 from all good locksmith stores. No tools are required to change the locks.
ECM
3rd October
The October ECM will be on Wednesday, 10 October instead of the original date to accommodate the Strata Manager’s ill heath.
Annual Fire Testing
14th October
In order to obtain the required Annual Fire Safety Statement inspections are required inside each unit. Aqua Fire will be inspecting units over two weekends in October between 7.00am and 10.00am (both days). The inspections are compulsory. Please note that the Act states that failure to provide access may result in a fine of up to $2,220.00 to the Owner’s Corporation or to an individual owner or occupier of a unit. The Inspection will take approximately five minutes per unit.

Caretaker Christmas and New Year Attendance

The Caretaker will be in attendance on site as per normal hours other than the gazetted Public Holidays over the Christmas and New Year period.
